Euthanasia and right to die with dignity - A socio-legal study

Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to identify and study the laws of countries that have legalized the euthanasia and how far are they able to meet the social and ethical standards. This dissertation would also focus on lacunas in the existing scenario of India where the apex court guidelines are regulating the euthanasia and no law has been passed by the parliament. So what are the problems faced by law makers to legalize the use of Euthanasia.
