Abstract

The right to Freedom of Speech and Expression has been recognized as a Fundamental Right under the Constitution of India and speech and expression on online forums is given the same privilege by the Supreme Court of India in a beautifully illuminated judgment on March 24, 20151. In what has been heralded as a landmark judgment, the Apex Court of the country struck down the draconian Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
